It ABSOLUTELY helps in keeping your body in straight line when practicing the kicking. I don''t have to worry any longer about the shoulder pain I used to get with the traditional kickboards. A+.

Love this tool. Took me a few try's to get the feel for it, but when I did it works amazing. It helps with my posture and my streamline. I used to use a standard kick board with my face out of the water the whole time. This position caused my hips to sink and my form to lack. The alignment board fixes my form and puts my face in the water to work on my breathing. The only problem I had was that I wanted yellow and the only option was blue, oh well. Other than that I am totally happy with the product.

I am just an old guy, who loves to swim at my local "Y". I hated swimming with those classic washboards (kick boards). They strained my neck and back and were just not fun. This new board is outstanding. It lets me glide like a shark, while I improve my kick. I use it for both the front crawl and back stroke. Great design ! Great idea !

I've been very pleased wtih this kickboard. It takes gettting used to. I recommend you buy a snorkel when you buy this product otherwise you'll find it difficult lifting your head up to breath. Otherwise, I've been pleased with the body position and streamlining other reviewers have pointed out.

Read about this product in the US Masters magazine and decided to give it a try because I have shoulder issues. It's somewhat awkward to get use to but it definitely works and is much more comfortable for me than using a kickboard where my shoulders are definitely more elevated. I recommend it!

This takes some getting used to, because it provides no support. Legs work harder (a good thing), but it's easier on the neck and shoulders (also a good thing). I can't do as many laps yet as I used to with the standard kickboard, but I like it.

I use the mini kickboard for lab swimming. I recently was on a trip to Denver and the hotel I was staying had a lab pool. I was able to pack the kickboard and my zoomers in my bag and take them with me. Worked great, and I kept up my workouts.

Be advised, this board is not as buoyant as some. You can not push off of it to grab a breath.

I should start out by saying that i am a contemporary ballet dancer who started to swim for it's MANY benefits and discovered just how many training possibilities there are in the pool with the proper equipment. I like this board because it is a small, streamlined board that's not a pain to haul around. The fact that it will follow me underwater a few inches is a bonus since it allows me to maintain proper alignment which is imperative in any excercise and it's perfect for one handed use, which can be an eye-opener for any imbalances i may have. Very happy with the board.
