Good product
By Julie H. from New York, NY on 8/12/2009
Size: Feels true to size

Good quality.  This wetsuit fit my 9 yr old best, of all the pieces we ordered from this website.  The torso was long enough (and he's of average height for his age), it was fit for slimmer kids vs the other product we tried, although it could have been even slimmer.  You wish the manufacturers would consider the fact that mostly thin kids are the ones who need a wetsuit, and make the suits less roomy around the middle, to keep them warmer.  But this one was the best of the ones we tried.

Seems to fit well and not be too restrictive

First time to buy from here. Also first time buying a wetsuit. My boy is almost 7 but on the slim side so after reading the review I got him the XS. Fits perfectly. No more blue lips. He looks so handsome in the suit!

Very Thick
By Sally from Queens Village, NY on 4/14/2009
Size: Feels too big

This is very thick but, unfortunately, because my son is very skinny it was a little big on him and he was still cold in the pool.

sized huge though

This is a very high quality suit and is a good value.  It it comparable to the 3 mm wet suits that I use for scuba diving.  The problem is that I bought a size 4/5 for my five year old daughter and it fits my seven year old perfectly instead.  My kids are tall for their age (95%+), but have slight builds so maybe the sizing would be better for stockier kids, but the measurements from the sizing chart suggest that the 4/5 should have fit my five year old.

Happy with these suits!
By Jill A. from Campbell, CA on 3/1/2009
Size: Feels true to size

We use these for swimming lessons and have been really pleased.  My kids used to complain about lessons because they were too cold.  This COMPLETELY stopped after we purchased these suits.  My son's fits a little more snug, so he stays a bit warmer.  My daughter is in between sizes so hers is a little big, but she still is warmer and much happier in the pool.  These suits are well made and a bit thicker (and therefore warmer) than many of the other suits I see on kids at their lessons.  I was worried the thickness might limit arm movement a bit, but that hasn't been a problem at all.  Highly recommend if cold water is getting in the way of swim lesson success and fun.

kids shortie wetsuit
By Tessa R. from Ventura, CA on 2/22/2009

a well-made wetsuit.  Legs and arms a little longer than some other shorties, but that was not a problem.  A little large in the middle on my skinny girls, but general fit was OK

Good solution
By Caren W. from South Charleston, WV on 2/9/2009
Size: Feels too big

My daughter has been freezing in the winter months during swim class despite the pool being heated.  So I bought this wetsuit to help keep her warm.  She is almost 4 yrs old and wears a size 4.  I bought the XS and it is a bit big in the midsection and legs.  But it has helped somewhat as she is not as cold.  It should keep her warmer as she grows into it.  It is still good quality at a good price.
