Lap track allows me to focus on stroke technique or even just lose myself in the rythm of the tunes on my SwimP3 player without having to count laps. I have found that I swim more relaxed and with better form when not having to count laps. The split time feature is great for keeping track of your progress. The only negative would be the difficulty of use with flip turns. I would recommend this product to all fitness swimmers. |

First , it has made a great difference in my workout. It counts and measures as advertised. The instructions however are quite difficult to read and understand. The only other real complaint is I havent yet figured out how to turn this thing off!!!! The numbers are hard to read and not much contrast. Finally, the best way to secure this device to the pool is using the hang oft the side option with the bag of water. Otherwise, this has made a great difference in my workouts. Thanks! |

Well, I wrote a favorable review earlier about this neat device, but after four months of consistent use each week, it simply stopped working. One other swimmer told me he had the same experience - it was great until it died, and he couldn't resurrect it. I'm wondering if the plug for the battery compartment might have leaked some water in and fried it. It only has a 90-day warranty, so I guess I'm out of luck! |

Great Product! Use it 3 times a week with my SwimP3 to zone out for an hour while swimming constantly. Great way to track progress for long distance swimming goals. No need to program for the fancy calorie counts etc. but a nice feature if you want to use it. It comes with 4 different ways to stick it to the pool's edge so if it does not stick to your pool with suction cups you have other options. I credit the Lap Track and SwiMP3 for getting me back into the sport keeping me motivated to swimming for fitness after having neck surgery. |

Too difficult to program for someone who just wants to get into the pool and swim laps without having tot worry about counting. I spent more time programming and setting the lapcounter up than I did swimming. Not to mention there is no shut off for the battery.
Buy something for less money that counts your laps. This is not a user friendly design or pool friendly set up. |

The suction cups do not hold the unit in place on the pool tile. The extension arms are not able to position the unit within reach when I am doing laps. |

Well, this is a hard one... the product is fabulous IF it actually stuck to the side of our current pool?! I wish it did stick under water b//c it has the potentiaal to be perfect. Having said that, thre is no other product on the market that makes a BIG underwater clock/timer for $60!! |

I use it 5 times a week. change the batteries every 2 weeks. It has a small 'curve' to understand how to use the functions, but once you know what it does and how to do it there isn't much more to it. I love not having to count laps in my head. gives me time to think while i swim. |

This device was a real blessing to me, as I increased my lap count to a point where I had trouble keeping track. I wish the numbers were a little bit larger, for those of us swimmers over 50. I agree with the other reviewer that there should be an on/off switch, so it doesn't keep beeping when your workout bag gets bumped. Those who buy it should know that the suction cups don't really work on the side of most pools. It's better to use the anchor that goes over the top of the wall, and fill the bag that comes with it with water to hold it in place. Other than those things, I highly recommend it! |

I agree with most of the reviews I read before I purchased the lap counter. Once you get it set up the way you need, it dose function well. But, the soft ware is not easy to use. The instructions are not easy to apply to the software in the unit. Once over that it was just what I wanted. I would recommend this product to those who are good at navigating software, love to swim laps and have a hard time counting the laps. |
