I got this for my little brother cus he swims for his school and he says that it's an awesome goggle but kinda hard to adjust and he gets serious raccoon eyes.
The Remora M has an additional seal that is supposed to cover the eye seal. When you wear the goggles for longer periods this extra seal starts to irritate and hurt around the eyes.Also when you stramline off of a flip turn and look straight at the bottom of the pool this seal seems to catch water and tug the goggle from your face and cause them to slightly leak.I have the standard Remora and really like them much more.The mirrored finished is really nice!
Great Goggles as always. They are a little bigger in size (from a lens perspective) than my previous ones, but still an awesome product. I swim 3-4 times a week, along with a few open water swims through in there as well, and these work great.
They are very good. The only time i have gotten water in them is when i dive in, so just keep them tight!
I am an avid ( older ) swimmer and have, for the past 8 or so months, been training for a 4.4 mile open water event; I was concerned about finding a goggle that did it all--tight seal, quality coating, optics, and secure fit. Nike ( Swim Outlet ) came thru! I have 3 pair in the event it goes off market. . .they are the best I have seen, for the price, in over 30 years of swimming. Only negative: allow the seal to break in, a bit uncomfortable @ first; comes w/ 3 nose pieces though.Great strap system.
The nose piece was too small and the goggles didn't offer a larger size. They felt like JR goggles.
My son swims for a club and high school, and this is without a doubt his favorite pair of goggles.
I swim daily. The Nike Remora goggle comes the closest to what I've prayed for - "Comfortable goggles that don't fog, leak, or make me look hung-over". The Remora comes with three nose-pieces for proper spacing between the eyes and they're very easy to install. Nike has issued some with rubber gaskets and some with foam - the foam does not last but the rubber gasket is very good, and this is my goggle of choice. They also come with a plastic case. I drilled lots of holes in mine so that the goggles will dry out and not get mildew. The case is big enough to also hold my earplugs and a travel bottle of Johnsons Baby Shampoo which I use for fog mitigation. Try the Remoras!! They're great goggles.
