The paddles automatically corrected some problems with my stroke and are great for strengthening the upper body in a short period of time. |

This paddle is an excellent paddle to build strength with while reducing any shoulder pain. The only down side is i've owned 3 pairs and have snapped in half all of them. The PVC foam they use is not that strong. I'm a marathoner and surfer to give you an idea of whose using them and I'm NOT that big of a guy. I continue to buy them cause I feel there worth it but be ready for them to break. |

These are great paddles. For me, they are the only ones that are comfortable with my bad shoulder, and using them regularly (5 days a week, 3,000 yards a day for 6 years), they have helped strengthen my muscles and correct my stroke. I'm pretty convinced that's why my shoulder pain has been significantly reduced and is , at times, not even with me! Plus, I've been able to keep swimming, which at one point I thought I wouldn't be able to do. My stroke is more efficient and thus I swim a little faster. FYI, I am a 122 lb. middle-aged woman with small hands, and these paddles are much better for me than the next size up. I think they are great for casual and more serious smaller adult swimmers. |

these paddles work well. they build strength and so far don't hurt my shoulder. would rate higher but problem is they don't last more than a few months before breaking. i am on third pair in under 1 year. need to be made stronger. |

Great for biceps during freestyle and triceps during backstroke. Go down one size. The blue was a for a man sized hand. Great if you want huge muscles. |

I've been training with Strokemaker paddles (green) that were available at the pool I swim at, but after purchasing the TYR Mentors, I'll never go back to the Strokemakers. They are comfortable, and really develop your strokes. They guide your hand and arm through the water in all parts of the stroke. I highly recommend these!!! |
