Good idea but not very "adjustable'' vertically. Too ridged tubing from mouth piece to main tube limits range of adjustments

I love using my snorkel for my everyday hour of freestyle swimming. It makes it easy to breath without hurting my neck. In the past I had to quit swimming and was in physical therapy three days a week due to the shoulder/neck injury I occurred though my side breathing. Now, I am able to swim well and keep going with no injuries. Awesome! Love using it!

FINIS Freestle Snorkel - just OK |

Bought the FINIS Freestyle Snorkel about three weeks ago. Use it for freestyle lap swimming. It works OK most of the time.
Mouth piece is not angled right to fit in the mouth and does not have full coverage for my mouth to go around. It points downward into the mouth and it occasionally leaks around the bottom center of my mouth. Have also had water enter the snorkel a few times. Wish it pointed more upward to prevent water coming in, or automatically came with cap.

purchased for my husband who is learning to swim and it''s a GREAT tool for letting him focus on his water position and stoke without worrying about breathing.

My husband has this snorkle so when it came time to buy my youngest daughter a new one he wanted to get her this model. It is good because the kicked and splashed water does not make it into the snorkle. The angle allows her to breathe without worrying about sucking in water being splashed by herself or other swimmers. When I asked her about it yesterday she said that it was the best and that because of the angle she could even do a flipturn while wearing it and most of the time there wasn''t any water in the snorkle when she surfaced! This made her very happy ;o). The only thing she did not like , because she is smaller the top of the mouth piece rubs her frenulum, making it sore, but with some chewing over time it is softening up and not so hard. Overall it is a really good design and durable. My husband has had his for over a year and it looks brandnew.

This is a great snorkel for pool use. It allows you to concentrate on your freestyle technique. I really enjoy the overhead design. and the way it fits to your fore head. Great product.

It takes a few laps to get the hang of it. It feels weird at first to be breathing through the tuba while having your nose in the water but to my astonishment, I don''t need to use a nose clip. I would have prefered the model with the purge because I find it difficult to blow all the water out of the tuba and if you don''t you can shoke pretty bad. It makes it very easy to concentrate on stroke technique and body position. I think it will help me lots!
