I wanted something more comfortable than a speedo to swim laps in. The shorts are designed like running shorts, however they are very thin. They also have a really thin liner and after wearing them once I decided I had to add another brief underneath them. I find them more appropriate now with the extra brief underneath. The material is already fraying after about 10 swims where my back makes contact with the side of the pool. Hoping they last a lot longer and if they do I might buy another pair.

Swim shorts that come down to the knees are hard to swim in and are just too much material to be considered a bathing suit. These swim shorts are perfect for swimming laps and are great for the beach. They are not too short and not long. It''s nice to have a suntan that doesn''t stop just above the knees. I am 54 years old, 5''8, a runner and swimmer.

I have used four pairs of these trunks over about 4 years for my 3-4 days a week workout laps. They are comfortable, supportive and offer full range of movement. My one gripe is that even with careful rinsing they fade after about 9 months. The blue ones fade into a rather awful silvery violet color, so I''m trying black. The material is still strong and supportive though. I keep replacing them because I''ve found nothing better for my workouts.
