I swam competitively for ten years and bought this cap to do some exercising in our complex''s lap pool. It gets the job done, hasn''t split yet, and is a normal latex cap. I''ve had latex caps that were thinner than normal ones, and I would say this one has a good thickness to it.

Have been swimming for exercise for 10 years and hair was taking a real beating lately. Since wearing this swim cap, no problem with out-of-control hair. Cap is very comfortable, durable and easy to keep clean.
