Speedo Fastskin II Male Legskin Reviews

I got this Fastskin II Legskin for my state's championships/finals.  The fit was perfect, and it felt GREAT!  The price was very reasonable too.  I don't have anything negative to say.  THANKS swim-outlet.

i wouldnt suggest sizing down, but my fs pro body skin ripped, so i needed a new suit. so i went out and bought this one. its great! it is wearing out quickly, but i remembered they will be illegal, so it doesnt bother me any!

I love this. I took me 15 minutes to get it on. But then if you put a bag over your foot and pull it up its so much easier. You dont want to to put this on to early before your races or it won't work as well. But, I bought this for divsionals cuz i age up on July 22nd and Divsionals is July 25th, so i bought this so i would drop time and keep up with the 13-14's and in IM, i first went a 1:19.56 and put this on and went a 1:09.78. Some people may say it messes up breaststroke,but if it fits well,it feels great.

I love this, too bad their illegal as of January 1st, 2010. :-(

The great thing about this suit is it has great compression and it is really good a repelling the water...... it wares out guickly so make the most of the suit i would say it will be 100 % for about 8 races 10 max but i used it for a half a year and its ok some might say fs pro is better i have seen one and felt it but i think go with this suit easyer for begginer and also very fast um..... be carful with the threads dont pull or else they stick out for a couple of inches but i dont lke the suit i use my nike swift in races instead of this

I used this for my championships this winter. I have used a FS1 before and it was okay but i wasn't impressed. But when i put on the suit and practiced a start in it, I SHOT THROUGH THE WATER! You feel so fast and i dropped time in all my events. I am one of those skeptics of these suits but this works so well.

This is a must buy if you want to go fast.

I ordered this suit knowing that FSII technology is growing old, but its undeniable that it makes you faster.  The only downside is that its fastsest for only one race, and that its only good for 10 races at the maximum, so if your looking for a tech suit that will last you multiple seasons you may want to consider a blue seventy.

i bought a FS2 for JO's and i wore legskin before at the size of 30 (one of them being  a FS1) so i get bin the water to swim the 100 back and when i finshed i saw the was a hole in the side eventhough i dropped 3 seconds and went a 57 i wont be buying another FS2 the TYR FUSION 2 suit is way better

It looked very small before i put it on and it took 5 min, but once it was on it looked and felt really awesome i cant wait to race with it

I used the Speedo Fast Skin 2 for my Distric races and I droped 6 sec!!
The worst thing is its light fabric that can rip easily so be careful when getting out of the water: make sure you don't set your knee down like I did or else it will rip, use the ladder instead.  Don't be intimidated by its small size because it will stretch, remember the tighter it is the better it will work. Don't get a larger size or else the suit won't have the same feeling.(parachute effect)
Take the time to carefully put it on or you could pop a seam.

I highly recommend this suit to everyone but before you spend $120 on any suit, take a look at the Fast Skin Pro. It's $10 more but it will last longer.
