The only complaint I have on these goggles is the fit is a little uncomfortable for my eyes. I am sure it would be a perfect fit for a medium to small sized person. It is not enough, however to deter me from wearing them. Otherwise, no leaks, no fog! Great!!
I have a comfortable seal around my narrow face. Other goggles would always leak. Keep them out of the sun when not using. The UV rays will damage the plastic around the nose.
Always quality stuff from TYR. I like the fit of the technoflex 2.0 better.
Snug Fit..seals out water well...
I used a pair of these goggles (metallized) for a year in training for a triathlon (2-3 workouts per week at a pool and open water) and accidentally left them at the pool after a workout. Unable to find them at the pool, I went to a nearby athletic store and was sad to see that they didn't carry the TechnoFlex Vision style anymore. I tried out two different pair of goggles. Neither were a hit. They didn't hold out water. The peripheral view wasn't the greatest. The comfort just wasn't the same.So I went online to SwimOutlet.com and found the TechnoFlex Vision and ordered two pair, one metallized and one smoke. To put it simply, I won't go with any other goggle. These suction well and keep water out. Also, the peripheral view is fantastic, and they are fairly comfortable (9 out of 10).For the price, you can't beat these goggles!!
I use these for swim training as well as triathlons. I like them because of the single head strap that splits in the rear as well as the high nose piece that does not sit on top of my nose. They are very comfortable and seal excellently.
I've used these TYR Technoflex Vision goggles for about 2 weeks now and am pleased with its performance. A notable improvement over the Speedo Hydrospecs that I was using before. The TYR leak less - actually, they haven't leaked at all, yet - and are more comfortable. Comfort is important to me, because I swim for an hour, and these goggles don't distract me with discomfort as others have.
ultimately comfort and seal are most important. after then is vision, etc, etc. It is reasonably comfortable and seal is marginal. Why do companies have so much difficulty making googles that seal?
i swim 1 or 2 days a week in the pool and these goggles last a long time and fit really well for hour long swim sessions. These are my 3rd pair. The first I ever owned broke the strap when I tried to adjust it, right out of the box. TYR overnighted me a new strap free of charge to replace it. Great product, great customer service.
