Tried the belt on the front first, but my daughter (3) had difficulty with balance and keeping herself upright. Using it on the back worked well, but it seems that the arms are held at an unnatural angle. She loves the freedom and certainly has more confidence in the water. I love that this buckles on and off-which makes it a cinch for changing.

High quality and enough bouyancy for petite women and great fit for middle school students. Also stays on physically challenged students.

Love this belt my 3 year old swims like a pro with this belt! We took this with us on vacation in Greece and everyone couldn't believe how good this works! I gave our belt to a close friend in Greece and just ordered a new one!!

This is used by a five year old learning to swim and it works exactly as described. It allows for free arm and leg movement while keeping the body afloat and upright. Very good product.

I purchased the Aqua Jogger Jr for my 4 year old grandson. Prior to receiving his Aqua Jogger Jr he used water wings on his arms. The water wings kept him afloat but he did not have good arm movement he maneuvered around the pool by kicking his feet. The Aqua Jogger Jr is so much better because he has full movement of his arms. He is all over the pool with great confidence. I think it might be a little big for a child under 3. I wish they made a smaller one for my 1 1/2 year old grandson.

My 3 year old daughter loves this! She can swim with her arms. My 2 year old son can't use it yet alone, as you need to hold your body upright or your face will go in the water

Using it for my 3 year old to play in pool. He has good arm range of motion and is able to float on his back with this device. He does go under when he jumps into the pool (and gets a running start!), but comes right back up. He loves this float because it gives him more independence in the water. Mommy loves it too because it is easy to get on/off!

We use this as a support for our 3 yr old who is just getting use to the water. It allows him to float with our assistance but gives him the confidence to start using his arms and muscles to swim on his own. Great product b/c its not too cumbersome and tight.
