I have used some form of Aqua jogger sets for about 5 years now, and the ONLY problem that I have is the plastic buttons on the inside of the jogger boots. Very hurtful and makes marks on my ankles. Other wise the set is wonderful to use . I use mine everyday in the summer and when the weather turns cool, I go to the YMCA and work out in the pool 2-3 days a week.
After a very traumatic auto accident 9 months ago, my back was rebuilt using rods, screws, and three of my ribs to replace the vertebra that were crushed. Regular physical therapy caused more pain and muscle spasming than I could endure. Walking on uneven surfaces jars my back with every step. Since I live in the country, gravel and grass are the only surfaces I have to walk on, so I am not able to walk very fast to build up my strength. My surgeon recommended Aqua jogger. I am not a swimmer and was a little anxious about trying it, but I needed to find a way to get some exercise without the constant jarring to my spine. I have been using the Aqua jogger set every other day for three weeks and look forward to my pool time. I started with mild exercising for 15 minutes and have built up to 45 minutes. I am building strength and stamina without pain! At the rate I am going, I will be able to return to work as a registered nurse within the next month or two! I absolutely love the Aqua jogger and highly recommend it to anyone needing help with their recovery. I only wish I had discovered it sooner! Thank you so much!!!!!
All items are adequate except the bar bells, they are very lit and offer no resistence in the water.
I absolutely love this set. As a person who is using this set for rehabilitation purposes it "rocks". Once I have finished rehab. I will buy bigger hand weights.Only thing I don't like are the buttons on the inside of the ankle floats. They tend to poke me, fixed with waterproof tape.

The weights are to light and since I am overweight the jacket does not fit. I can't use the ankle weights because they do not fit either.
I used to make fun of people who exercised in their pool. For me, my pool is a place to sit in my pool chair with a cold drink and a good book. Since I developed arthritis in my back, compounded by excess weight, I had to give it a try. I am absolutely AMAZED at what a terrific workout I get WITHOUT THE SWEAT! Sweat isn't a bad thing, but living in Florida, I get enough of it just going outside. I'm losing inches, toning my muscles, and actually enjoying exercising again.
I love doing water aerobics with this equipment!
Overall, this combo pack is a great buy! The aqua jogger is great, but I thought the dumbells were a little whimpy. I would have preferred something that offered a little more resistance. The ankle/wrist resistance weights are surprisingly effective (I have never used them before). All of these tools have been extremely helpful in my rehab recovering from knee surgery. All in all, I would recommend this combo set for everyone!
