I'm a new lap swimmer and these came recommended, by a buddy. I had tried a cheap pair of speedos that leaked badly. The Barracuda Ultimates are great! Very comfortable fit with no leakage, (after I got the straps adjusted right). They look pretty cool as well. Also, another vetern swimmer friend of mine tried them and he had to have a pair as well. I don't have a lot of experience with swim goggles as I have only recently taken up swimming on a regular basis. I can say that these goggles are comfortable, don't leak and don't fog up. I think they are a bargain for the money.
I feel very light w/ this goggles when I do intensive swimming. No water leaking, and clear view for whole hours.
They are more comfortable than most goggles I've tried and they don't leak.
Very pliable softer material makes for a very good seal and the most comfortable I have ever worn.However, the lens plastic is very easily scratched (even from a cotton towel.) Treat them gently and they are great.
I swim laps several days a week, and have had a difficult time finding googles that fit or don't leak. I knew from the moment I put these on that there were perfect for me. No leaking, no fogging, and fit comfortably.
I've always had speedos before that worked fine. My last pair had a lot of scratches and the strap was a little heavy. So I replaced them with these and they are amazing goggles. The strap is very light, which is nice if you swim over 3 miles a week. The view is very clear and stays dry. Definitely the best pair around.
The fit is terrific, and they provide what I was looking for - a good seal, without too much pressure on the skin around my eyes. The lines disappear quickly after wearing, unlike harder goggles. I prefer these to the masks, which are the other way I get around the eye-lines, as they are less bulky, less sense of drag in the water than the mask. I'm just doing fitness swimming, not competition, but swim five or six days a week, so wanted somehting that wouldn't be so hard on my face.
I've purchased Barracuda Ultimate goggles for at least 3 years. They are the best swimming goggles I've ever used. They keep water out, they're light weight and the straps don't give me a headache. I especially like the clear lenses as I do most of my swimming at an indoor pool.
I liked the goggles I was using to swim, but when they started leaking I took a friend's recommendation and purchased these as a replacement. I could not believe the difference in fit/feel, clarity, and leakage (they don't!)...all for a fabulous price. I bought 2 pair, the other for my husband and he had the same "aha" experience. Highly recommended!!
