The size and weight of this board are nice (definitely a junior size, best for kids or small adults). I use this board for swim lessons; though I can use it to demonstrate as well, but I don't think I'd really want to do laps with it. I find that the board surface is just a little bit irritating to my skin... not sure if that will diminish with time; it's soft/flexible and a little bit rough/grippy (feels kind of like the burn you get when tubing).
