The sizing is very wrong. I have a 34" waist which means a XL, but I returned the XL and got the L. I could even have gotten the M. Easy returns, and no hassles.

Bought trunks for my son who is a Lifeguard . Older son is also Lifeguard. These are long and fit great, Boys are tall so that is important that they look professional. The drawstring in waist is a must, other trunks without this are not as functional. Colors are vibrant and look so neat and clean. Washed up like a dream.

Looked at a lot of lifeguard shorts for my 15 year old son - these were definitely the best for what he wanted. Fit loose, to the knee, and a Medium is perfect for my 5'10", 140 pound 15 year old son. The material is very soft and holds up great to washings - mesh inside. And much better price than our local swim store.

My son uses these for lifeguarding. They are well made and fit nice. We ordered from a different site first and waited for shorts that ended up not fitting, so we were in a bind to get something quick. These came the next day and were perfect.

My son is very thin. I purchased a small. The swim trunks fit him perfectly. He doesnt sag, and he doesnt have to wear 2 or 3 pairs of shorts underneath. The material is very sturdy. I am very pleased.

My son recently started a job as a life guard and was a little concerned about having the right gear. Your website was full of options. The shorts were just the right item to complete his needs. The only suggestion was to have the waist string a bit longer. The elastic waistband keeps this from being a huge issue but it would be a bit more useful. Altogether a great purchase.
