I ordered these for my husband. He is having trouble making them water tight. I have used these for years with no problem. Any advice? |

Aquasphere goggles |

For several years I have enjoyed aquasphere swim goggles for lap swimming due to the shape of their lenses which provide an open view of the pool as compared to the traditional goggles that fit close around the eyes. For some reason this particular model has a slightly different contour in the molding covering the bridge of the nose which periodically pinches and when adjusted a small pooling of water forms at the edge of the goggles. After several adjustments I can usually get a good seal, but the problem can sometimes interrupt the rhythm of lap continuity. |

I was tired of leaving the pool looking like a raccoon with deep red grooves in my face from smaller goggles. I suspected these would solve the problem but I was surprised how much I absolutely love these goggles! They are so comfortable and you hardly feel like you have them on. I highly recommend them. Plus I have a small face for an adult and these fit fine. |

I wear these goggles because I swim with contact lenses in and cannot tolerate any water in my eyes. These are the only goggles which work effectively for me. I replace them about every 3 months. My only complaint is the high pricetag, but since I can't swim without them, it's worth it. |

I just used the Aqua Sphere Seal Mask for the LA Triathlon and they worked great! No fogging and they were so comfortable! |

I am a fitness swimmer-I do a mile several times/week. A swimming buddy suggested I try a swim mask in place of the goggles I was wearing to eliminate the rings around the eyes impressions that invariably show up after my workout. I've been using this brand of swim mask for several years now. I have a thinner face and this is the only pair I've found that fits without leaking. Got a good price and quick delivery from swimoutlet. |

This is my third aqua seal. The seal lasts until the bitter end, usually four years. The end is caused by an accumulation of crud on the lens which I can no longer remove by a vigorous scrub using shampoo and my fingers. |

Only thing that is a bother is that after 30 minutes of swimming, goggles begin to fog. Other than that, great. |

I would get the tinted for better vision, even indoor. I am 51 and swim 2 miles twice a week. You have to wear goggles in my pool due to the heavy concentration of chlorine. I found that the smaller eye goggles were causing damage to my eye socket area. (wrinkles and bruising, raccoon eye effect) This lasted 2-3 days and some of the skin damage stays indefinetly since as one gets older that area is not very elastic, and forgiving of rough treatment. I had to quit swimming. though it was great exercise. I could get fit from other sports. What is the use of having a great bod and an old looking face? I found these and Wah Lah. I have been swimming regularly now. These cause some pressure over the lower cheeks and a line on the forehead. But it starts to vanish with lotion application after about 1 hour and goes completely away after about 3-4 hours. They are very comfortable while wearing and only leak a slight amount after getting to the point of gasping for breath and screwing the face up in strange shapes trying to suck in air! Over all I think these are the icing that tops the cake. 100% great. I have told all the other older swimmers about them and everyone is pleased. I wear my soft contacts under them all the time and occssionally wear non water proof eye make up and do quite well! |
