For pool usage, this satisfies our dermatologist who advised us to avoid direct sunlight exposure, especially in the water which magnifies the suns rays. This shirt is durable and comfortable.
I do almost daily lap swimming in chlorinated pool, got about 4 months out of it , could gotten time more but loosness was causing drag. Excellent sun screen.Weakness--- loose ends on stiching, but fingernail polish fixes
Comfortable, easy to wear for body glove, would buy it again.
I bought this to snorkel in on a trip to the US Virgin Islands. I am tall and slender and the fit was just right. It kept me from getting a chill in the water and kept me from sunburning in the intense heat. I would buy another Body Glove rashguard.
Yup, it's Basic, gets the job done, looks good, but doesn't feel as nice on the skin as a pricier rashguard
bought for a recent trip to Hawaii. great shirt, no issues, not even too tough to get on and off. looks good.
I have submitted several reviews of Body Glove aquatic products which I do like to wear. These shirts are used in a pool four or more days a week for four to five hours. This much chlorine would be hard on anything, but these shirts last for more than a month, and the price is fine. I am a woman, and have found the men's shirts to fit the length of my arms and slip over my head much better than the women's. Both have the same stitching issues at the ends of the long seams on the sleeves and the body of the shirt. I usually need to thread the ends through a needle and pull them into the seams to prevent them from unraveling.
Nice snug fit. It's what I expected.
I am a woman and layer swimsuits with a rash guard to stay consistently warm in the water. I lap swim for many hours several days every week. I find men's shirts are better constructed and more durable than women's, but this one has some stitching problems, and the edges of the seams and cuffs are unraveling, which simple back and double stitching would control. It fits fine and is doing a good job otherwise.
I ordered a men's large and I believe we received a Youth Large. When my son tried it on, who is 6'4" it ran very small. When looking at the site to determine sizing for Lycra shirts, it was very confusing. And it's too bad, because he really liked the look of the shirt.
