Great bag. Looks and feels small but is surprisingly roomy. Dries out fast. Would be nice if smaller front pouch had 2 zippers as i've had loose items fall out of it upon unzipping. Overall great lightweight bag.
Really nice backback for my 6 y/o son. He swims 3 times a week. It has the perfect amount of space for a change of clothes, a pair of shoes (full grown shoes would not fit : ) and his towel. The 2 side pockets are nice for goggles (can fit 2-3 pair in one) and I use the other usually for my phone, keys & wallet (plenty of room for these items or a wet bathing suit if you wish) We have a wetbag we use for his suit and it fits in the main part, too. It's really full by this time though. I personally don't even use the outer 2 front zipper parts as these are useless to me, because by the time I have what I need on the inside, there is NO WAY I could fit anything in those pockets as they require space from inside the main compartment to utilize. This bag is really well made and tough. I like how after you start using it, it stands alone on the floor when I empty it out because of the rubber on the bottom to protect it from getting wet (I like this!) It holds it's shape and stays ready to be refilled. It's also cushioned on the back for comfort while carrying. All in all we are very happy with it for what we need it for right now. If you need to carry anymore then what I mentioned...don't buy this, it's way too small for any kind of equipment. It's a very nice looking bag (stylish-the colors are beautiful) for a younger child or someone who just needs essentials.
I returned the TYR Large Backpack because it was way too big. The small bag is just large enough for 1 towel, and practice essentials. It is made of quality materials, and has several useful pockets. The bag would function better if the pocket openings were larger. It would be great if there was a medium bag.
I got 2 bags for my 6, and 11 year old for swim meets. It looks to small on my 11 year olds back. It is more for little children under 8 with little to know equipment. It is not enough room to put large equipment or there clothes when they take them off. Don't even think about putting a large towel in there. It is to small for the price, sending it back. I gave it a 3 star because of the price, the quality is great.
I was buying two of the backpacks in black and pink for my daughter and I to use on a 60mile/3 day Susan G. Komen walk at the end of the month. My son, who is on the swim team, asked if I could purchase a black and orange one so he can use it. The day it came in, he switched his 'swim stuff' from the old bag into the new one...it is attached to his back ever since. The comfort and ease of using this backpack is AMAZING!!
I thought it was too small but actually it is big enough for me for daily swim workout. The thing I really like about this is the color. I got Navy/Gold. I can rock Cal Golden Bears shirts and shorts with thig bag!!!! I look fly with 'em.
I carry paddles and a pull buoy, and with the towel in the mesh bottom, it's a little snug. If I used and brought flippers, I couldn't use this backpack. The zippered pocket for phone and wallet is a bit tight. Nice side pockets for water bottle and goggles, but it's too small to use for anything but swim gear. However, it is comfortable to carry.
I bought the swimming back packs for my grandchildren that swim on a team in Mansfield Ohio. It is the perfect size to keep them organized and has helped prevent loosing goggles and other gear. The colors were the same as the team colors.
I Like the bag a lot, its perfect for my 6 yr old swimmer. It is a litte smaller than I anticipated but great size for him. I like all the pockets and pocket for wet stuff. Its a good little bag.
