The suit looked great and fit great! The reviews rated it great and it held up to the reviews. I loved it from the minute I tried it on. After swimming it still looked great! I felt a little like old time "glam" wearing it. I'm really glad I bought it!
I purchased this suit in brown and I love it. It makes my figure look great. I was worried since I'm only 34 that it would look like an older woman's suit but it doesn't - it's perfect. I plan on getting another soon.
I'm typically a size 10 in pants, but a 6 or 8 in dresses. I had ordered the size 10 originally, and it was way too big, so I exchanged it for an 8 and it fits great! My suggestion is order your dress size. It's a great suit! Very flattering, especially since I carry all my weight in my midsection-- it flatters and gives me a good figure. I'm small-chested, and the top fits great.

I liked this suit for basically... covering everything. I'm a size 8 but not bikini confident. The ruching gives you a smooth silhouette, and the part covering your hips ends just high enough so that you don't look like you're wearing an old lady skirted bathing suit. It has a really nice retro look. Some problems I had started with the optional strap- the fastening loop for it tore right away so I had to sew a new one- that made it look a little odd on one side. Also, since it can be worn strapless, it has a tighter band of elastic at the top- but it is somewhat low cut- which resulted in a double bulge on each breast if I wasn't careful to keep it in the right place. My boyfriend liked it though and didn't notice any of these flaws.
I bought this suit for our vacation and was worried it would be to old fashioned or old lady one piece, but I loved it - I felt like an old school beauty pagent contestant (in a cute way) and it fit great and was flattering and comfortable. My favorite suit I have ever owned.
