SwimmingSound is great.Plugs inside ears not so good.
Been using it for 3 weeks now and love it! Great sound, fits tight in my ears, controls are simple & easy to use. Plugged into computer, loaded music right on, what a breeze! I had purchased another brand of waterproof Mp3 player months ago, it took forever to try to figure it out, get the music on it, and then it died after a few weeks. Very disappointing. This little gem has been a winner from the git-go. My water-dancing could not be more enjoyable.
I got one as a gift...shortly after a few swims in the ocean, the product "died' and did not turn on .The company was good enough to replace it with another one. This too lasted only a week of daily swimming and eventually died. The controls are small and hard to navigate. This product simply does not last...what a waste...what a disappointment
I recently purchased this unit and have found it to be good so far. It does not have a battery indicator so I know when to charge it, but the battery has proven to last longer that my previous MP3. The volume does not go high enough for me, but the ear buds provide a nice waterproof seal and the music is clear . Time will tell as I have found these units, (not this brand though) have lasted from one month to one year. Hopefully, this one will stand the test of time.
The instructions for use were alright, the sound is good, even under water. It is very comfortable to wear while swimming but I've lost the ability to download songs files from my computer and the website is not helpful at all in trying to restore drivers, etc.
The product is easy to use and to upload music to. The earphones are a bit hard to get in my ears, but once in, they do stay in. The quality of the sound is good and I have not had any problems...although I have only used it twice.
I love to swim, for me it is the perfect exersize that any one can do. Now I enjoy laps in the pool even more since purchasing my Nu Tech Dolphins MP3. It helps me keep my rhythm in my strokes and I do it to the music I love the most..smooth Jazz. Yeah Baby!!!
It probably would have been a better rating if I could have gotten it to stay in my ears better while swimming. I purchased the longer cords - they got in the way and my arms would somehow manage to tug them just enough to pull the ear buds out while swimming... the shorter ones just fell out constantly. I haven't been able to find that happy medium yet. I've only used it a few times with much frustration and no luck.Unlike the one review on here - I have a Vista OS on my computer and it works fine w/Vista.Plays music well and holds plenty for a 1.5 hour swim (or 1.5 hour fight-with-the-earphones session). After a while, my ears just hurt from pushing them in and trying to figure out how to get them to stay... I tried both types of ear buds too, the one larger size wouldn't even go in, so... ?
I have had three of these items int he past 4 months and none of them work right. The first was very picky about which of my computers it would talk to -- no VISTA ones. After about a month it stopped working. The second was less picky about the computer, but also stopped working in 1 month. The third talked to the computers just fine, but when the waterproof earphone got wet the decibel level went to about half. It stopped working after a month. The pool I use is only 4 feet deep, so it did not exceep the maximum depth. The basic design--small and will attach to a swim suit strap --is great and when they work they have good sound. Three strikes and you're out!!!!SwimOutlet has been great about replacing the item and/or offering a refund.
Excellent device, i would recommend that anyone who swims a lot has one. i train daily with mine for triathlons. just one tip of advice make sure if you live where it gets cold that you let the head phone dry out or keep them from freezing or you will loose sound quality.
