This is a well-made product, the fabric is of high quality. The sizing, however, is off and the suit is a bit too snug.
Beautiful blue racer...nice quality fabric. Fits well with excellent lining. Great value!
its durability?I'm new to swimming and its brief. I swim 5-6 days a week for an hour and fifteen minutes. The suit lasted about 3 months. I got the the Duralast version and now a side-by-side comparison of the two this one is quite thin and saggy. I'll try the Duratlast one next and if 3 month life is standard for these suits than I'll change this rating to a five star.
Terrific suit and great price
I ordered a 32 which is the size I wear in Speedo briefs and the Tyr size 32 is a little loose. If recommend downsizing 1 size when ordering this suit.
This suit fits perfect. I've tried other brands that have 3+ inch sides and this one has about an inch less. The slimmer sides are a more natural fit for swimming or getting some sun. If you want more coverage I recommend Speedo.
While I've started buying the Durafast version of this suit because it has all the great qualities of this brief, with much greater durability, this suit, the Lycra one, was my favorite for years. I loved it for its great fit, slightly briefer cut (than other standard 3" briefs) and comfort. Durability was ok for a lycra suit - I would get maybe 3-4 months out of one, swimming 7 days a week. The Lycra suit has slightly finer, silkier fabric than the Durafast version, and is about 30% more stretchy. I think that makes it SLIGHTLY more comfortable, if that's more important to you than the bulletproof durability of the Durafast suit. The Lycra suit comes in many more colors as well.
