Go ahead, add water to your running routine with the Hydro Sport Water Shoe; designed with quick-drying technology and a supportive sole for every adventure you take on.
I take water exercises five days a week. I have back and neck fusions so these she''s are excellent support.
I use these shoes in a swimming pool to walk on a treadmill. Then I don''t bother to take them off when I swim. They are comfortable and lightweight. They feel like good support when walking. I have another style of Ryka water shoes, and I alternate their use, as they do take time to dry. I''m in the pool six days a week. The other ones are the light blue shoes; these fit better, I think. My older pair has worn really well, and I hope that these do, too. They have worn better than the Teva shoes that I liked.
I do water exercises 2 hours at a time, 4 days a week. I have heel spurs and plantars fasciitis in both feet. These shoes are great. They do not hurt my feet. The shoes are light weight, and I can run and jump in the water with no problem.
I do aquafit 4 times a week. I''ve been using these shoes now for just over a week and they have proved really comfortable and supportive on my foot (I have very high arches) from the word "go". I love the toggle that slides up and down the lace, which makes sure the shoe always fits securely to my foot. I bought Ryka because pretty much everyone in my aquafit class wears the brand and swears by them. so far I haven''t been disappointed.
Gives firm traction in the pool
Good Fit, but after 3 weeks the inserts are starting to fall apart.
I use these shoes 3 times a week for my water aerobics classes. These shoes give me good support, and they are easy to take off and put on.
I really preferred my old leather Ryka water shoe but can''t seem to find them anymore.Swim Outlet has these at the lowest price I''ve found. The fit is right for the size listed. The fabric makes this shoe very light. The only problem is that the inside really scratches the toes and instep and is uncomfortable even wet. I''m hoping that I will adjust to it in time or I will have to wear socks.
As an instructor these are an essential addition to your shallow water workout. Much better then the Speedo.
I teach Aquarobics demonstrating moves on the deck and then hopping in the water. These shoes are comfortable and provide support and stability on the deck and in the water. The only negative so far the chlorine bleached the black shoelaces to dark brown.

Ryka™ was founded in 1987 by a woman named Sheri Poe. Frustrated with the lack of well designed shoes for women, Poe took her entrepreneurial spirit and decided to create a new footwear brand. Ryka is now privately owned by Brown Shoe Company; however, the brand's mission of enhancing women's lives through fitness and quality products has remained.
The Ryka brand is committed exclusively to women. The shoes are designed to contour to a woman's foot. Narrow in the heel and wider in the forefoot, Ryka shoes are molded specifically to the shape of a women's foot. Ryka's athletic apparel is distinguished by its technical performance fabrics and modern design details. The collections are constructed with a combination of lightweight technology, versatility, style, and function. This active woman's apparel is designed to move.
Over the years, Ryka has supported a number of women's programs, including providing grants to women, sponsoring breast cancer awareness events, and promoting women in endurance sports. Its support of women's fitness is rooted in the belief that woman's participation in fitness programs builds and strengthens her self-esteem and confidence.
