  • 1/30/2014 Best Yoga Pants

    rating star By Jules

I read all the reviews but went ahead and ordered these pants for hot yoga.  They are super comfortable, look great, and do not keep the sweat inside my pants dripping down - the fabric retains the moisture but wicks it away from my skin.  The capri style is also great for winter hot yoga as I can wear my boots up to the bottom of the pants and don't have to freeze on the way out or into class (I live in Chicago).

I just tried to order another pair and they are out of my size - huge bummer.  I ordered the medium and they were true to size for me.

  • 12/18/2013 Skin tight and small

    rating star By jr728

I unfortunately had to return these pants. They're tight and show just about every wrinkle in your skin and seam in your underwear. I ordered a small, but maybe a medium would have fit better.

  • 5/9/2013 Good for yoga, not for watersports

    rating star By Seattleyogini

The pros: great! color, good fabric - not too thick or clingy, flattering fit. The cons: Not water-resistant as advertised on some sites, does show water marks, spendy.
I bought these for paddleboarding because they were described as water resistant (one site said "good for running in the rain", and no-show sweat. I tried them on, flicked a little water on them from my fingers, and not only did it show, but I could also feel it through the pants. Just a little tiny bit of water! So they would be great for yoga, but not for more high-performance demands. Too expensive for me for that purpose.

  • 4/30/2013 Terrific Quality, But Color Is Off

    rating star By Viv Savage

I bought these pants for the bright orange color. Unfortunately, the color looks pretty different in person than in the photo, so I ended up returning them. However, they fit really well, and the fabric is high-quality, very soft, and very comfortable to wear. These are also great if you have love handles to hide. I can't vouch for the sweat-proof and water-resistant aspects, as I only tried them on, but the material is very substantial and you don't have to worry about people seeing through them when you bend over. The nectar color is actually more of a bold, bright, deep hot pink with a hint of orange, than the bright sunny orange shown in the photo. It's a really great color, just not what I'm looking for right now. I'm 5"6" 145-150 lbs and the medium fit perfectly.

Jack O'Neill began surfing in 1952, before functional surf apparel was invented. While working for the Army Air Corps, O'Neill discovered neoprene foam in a DC-3 airplane. He then combined the neoprene carpeting with duct tape to create the first neoprene wetsuit.

Demand for O'Neill's neoprene wetsuits grew rapidly and he began a business selling the O'Neill wetsuits out of his garage. By 1980, he was a leader in the beach apparel industry with a thriving business. Since then, O'Neill™ has become a widely recognized and respected brand in the surf industry, continually creating new and innovative products. In addition to O'Neill wetsuits, they carry O'Neill boardshorts, O'Neill dresses, O'Neill hats, O'Neill rash guards, O'Neill swimsuits, O'Neill water shoes, O'Neill sandals, O'Neill life jackets and O'Neill t-shirts.

In addition to his business success, O'Neill also created a non-profit foundation for kids. O'Neill developed the O'Neill Sea Odyssey Program: a free, educational cruise that introduces kids to the microbiology of the Monterey Bay Marine Sanctuary, beginning at Jack O'Neill's doorstep.
