  • 6/15/2015 Really small

    rating star By trier

I'm 5'9, 142 lbs with a 30" waist.  The small was like trying to put on a pair of shorts from grade school.  I'm also not a fan of the elastic bands at the end of the legs. It's too thick, and has those rubbery clear gel dots that are on some headlamp bands that I don't like feeling on my legs...seems like it would be a chaffing issue.  Also, they are sheer, but that would be reduced if you order a size up.

  • 6/11/2015 Good shorts

    rating star By JerMorrow

I bought and have worn these through two triathlons.  They're really nice shorts and a good value for the price.  The construction seems really good.  Though the shorts feel pretty sturdy, the material does appear pretty thin when they are on.  I'd recommend them for a beginner triathlete who is looking for quality at a reasonable price.

  • 11/10/2013 Great quality

    rating star By Tan

Its mostly true to size, but the band around the thigh might be a little tight if you have muscular thighs.  Works well for the more slight Asian build.  Its been used once so far, and has been very comfortable for bike, swim and run.  Very opaque, which is great too.  Would definitely buy it again.

Training for my first triathlon, used these shorts for running, biking and swimming as a test run of the tri, all went well and the shorts are functional.

Good fit around the waist, great fabric and nice look. not sure the elastic in the lower legs will survive mulitple washings tho.

  • 7/3/2012 Highly recommend!

    rating star By Coach Pod

I'm competing in my first tri this August so I was looking for an inexpensive tri short that I could wear during the swim, bike, and run and these have been great. I don't feel "weighed down" in the water, but yet the padding has been enough while I'm on the bike. They also don't have that bulky feeling during the run so I look forward to using them in the tri.

  • 6/26/2012 Great for first timer

    rating star By steveo

I bought some plain swim gear to do inside lap swimming and the elastic around my leg dug into me.  I've taken these open water swimming, biking, and running to get ready for my first sprint tri, and they've been awesome.  a really wide elastic band around my quad and it stays in place. I would recommend these to anyone getting started
