My husband swims first thing in the morning , usually before the sun rises.  He enjoys the many functions of this product, but would like somekind of back lighting so he can see his progress in the dark.  
Otherise he loves this product and has recommended it to friends.

This is the first lap counter that i´ve bought. Works great, it does the job of counting just fine. It has a lot of functions and I found it easy to get to all of them. On the other hand some things can be improved, such as visibility is greatly reduced when underwater, maybe a good backlight can help. Also, because of the size and the fact that you have to tap the screen in order for it to count, I think a wrist lap counter, like the swimmate or the oregon (both also on Swimoutlet), is just more personal and less troublesome when the pool is crowded and I have to share a lane, but thats just my opinion lol. Anyways, I´m getting the swimmate in a few days, hope it works fine as well.

I love being able to keep track of my laps without having to remember them and keep track of my time. I haven't used any other features of it yet. I did have to contact the manufacturer to find out how to turn it off. (not in the instructions that I could find.)

Rated "Needs that Special Somthing"... that being consistent well tested eletronics.  Nice device... short life span. Mine no longer shuts off from any timed functions and now keeps running in all modes for that realllllyyyy long lap. But I like it so, I suckered into another one. Keeping me motivated is difficult and this device works well for that.

Lap track allows me to focus on stroke technique or even just lose myself in the rythm of the tunes on my SwimP3 player without having to count laps. I have found that I swim more relaxed and with better form when not having to count laps. The split time feature is great for keeping track of your progress. The only negative would be the difficulty of use with flip turns. I would recommend this product to all fitness swimmers.

First , it has made a great difference in my workout. It counts and measures as advertised. The instructions however are quite difficult to read and understand. The only other real complaint is I havent yet figured out how to turn this thing off!!!!  The numbers are hard to read and not much contrast. Finally, the best way to secure this device to the pool is using the hang oft the side option with the bag of water.
Otherwise, this has made a great difference in my workouts. Thanks!
