Dave D'Alessandro knew a good idea when he created it, so with the help of his business partner, Adam Tesser, Deltess Corp. and the Ostrich™ line were born. While he was reading, Mr. D'Alessandro needed to turn over but he couldn't find a comfortable position on his stomach that let him keep reading. To solve this problem, the Ostrich 3in1 Chair was launched in 2005.

Always the innovator, creating 1 chair that let you flip over in comfort without interrupting your reading wasn't enough. Now there is a whole line of Ostrich chairs and chaise lounges that are ready to get you comfortable. Aiming for design innovations, the Ostrich products were breaking molds left and right and were featured on The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch. They were even packed in the celebrity gift bags at the 2009 Golden Globes. In addition to their fame, 1 of their products was the Winner at the Yankee Inventor's Expo in 2007.

With their continued success, the Deltess Corp. will continue to add to the Ostrich line: Finding newer, more comfortable and more convenient ways to bring your favorite chair or lounge to your favorite spot. They do all of the work to make sure that you can really relax and put your feet up.
