sizes run small

the product is nicely built but the sizes run way small, at least a full size compared to other booties I have but this is the first time I ordered Ripcurl brand booties.

I use this product to help pretect my ears. I use silicone plugs and the hat for added protection, water in my ears causes me a lot of pain.
I swim all year round and an added plus is it keeps my head warm in winter.
The only thing I might change is next time I will order medium size
I guess I think my head is bigger thjan it is.PS iam currently 82 yrs old
and swim about 1000 yds about 4 times a week THANKS FOR CARING

sun protection

I am a lap swimmer and former boater who has had sun damage from all the years in and on the water. Now I swim with cover ups for protection. It was great to find some in fun patterns instead of the non-descript ones I have.

In the interest of disclosure, i hate wetsuits. Always have. Just personal preference. That said, this is by far the best fitting and easy wearing suit I''ve had. The chest entry takes a little getting used to, especially when taking off the the wetsuit. Otherwise it''s an excellent wetsuit.
Also, you cannot go wrong at the Outlet in San Clemente. I''ve been going there for years and am never disappointed.

The difference between the size when you try the suit on and when in the water is considerable. If I had any way to know, I''d have gotten a smaller size. I am ordinarily a 34 swimsuit, and this was an 8, so I guessed it was the same. That wasn''t the case in the water. But, once I''d worn it in the pool, I couldn''t return it. Live and learn. The suit is okay, but the fit is off.

This is a great product. These run way too big. My two year old daughter is wearing an infant suit. I would still recommend to anyone, just make sure you know your childs body size.

I bought an extra large and I felt like I was poured into it. It was more tight than I had expected. I hope it will stretch some with use, otherwise I will have to shrink to fit it.
