Altra Men's Torin Running Shoes
So far, so good
from Charlotte, NC
I am a 65 year-old runner of some 35 years. I have been struggling of late with IT band knee problems and thought I would give the Torin''s a try. So far, they have felt good, no knee pain when I''ve run in them although I haven''t done any serious mileage in them yet. Another nice benefit with these is the "instruction manual" that came with them that directs the runner to LTRInitiative.com where there are instructional videos on the proper running technique. I found the instructions to be very similar to the Chi Running technique I have studied before and a good refresher on proper running form. I wear a size 12 street shoe and bought these in a size 13 and they feel good. You definitely want to size up at least a half size. Along with these innovative shoes and the instructional videos, I recommend that anyone looking for a cushioned, neutral shoe and who has been experiencing knee problems to give them a try.
Asics Men's Gel-Extreme33 Running Shoe
Good shoe and phenomenal price
from Dixon, IL
I switch up my runs with different types of shoes from minimalist to more supportive. I was due for a new supportive shoe but didn''t want a couple of bricks on my feet. This was my first pair of Asics and I was not disappointed. I have run a 5k and 155 since the purchase and have felt great during and after each run. Time will tell if I become a regular Asics customer., but so far so good.

Mizuno Men's Wave Inspire 9 Running Shoes
great lightweight stability shoe
By Jason H.
from GREENFIELD, IN
Road running - great light stability shoe for training. Could even be a 10K or half marathon shoe for those with overpronation issues. Just a smooth light ride with stability to make running less painful.

K-Swiss Men's Blade Light Run II Running Shoes
Great Update to the Blade Light Run
By Ironman Rookie
from Orange County, CA
I''m 6''2" 175 lb. triathlete with a neutral gate, mid to forefoot strike and fairly high arches. The first version of this shoe the Blade Light Run is one of my favorite shoes that I''ve run Half Marathons and Half Ironmans in so I was anxious to try this update. My first impression putting on this shoe is it may have the most comfortable upper I''ve ever worn. While running the upper is plush and comfortable with a sock like feel. While this shoe is not a racing flat it is lightweight and advertised as lighter than the previous model. During my first runs in this shoe of 5 - 8 miles they did feel light. Besides the very comfortable upper the other big change is the sole of this shoe. It has a significant increase in cushion compared to the original Blade Light Run. At first I was unsure I liked the lack of road "feedback" but 100 miles later this shoe is becoming my new favorite trainer. Because of the additional cushion without added weight I''m now considering these shoes for marathons and Iron distance triathlons. The only reason I''m not giving these shoes 5 stars is due to a small "hot spot" I developed on my left forefoot at the base of my big toe for the first few runs in this shoe. It''s now gone so it may have been a break in period for the shoe. If you are a runner/triathlete looking for a light weight, cushioned and very comfortable shoe, this is it! BTW - I forgot to mention that I''ve raced Olympic distance tri''s sock less with this shoe without any chafing!

Penguin Shoe GOO Clear 3.7 oz
shoe goo rating
from Long Branch, NJ
Gives a very durable flexible seal between layers of plastic and rubber in sneakers or sandals. Seals and firms quickly. Do your best to avoid skin contact, because it adheres to skin stubbornly and requires nail polish solvent, creamy dish washing detergent and much scrubbing to remove. Use a plastic spatula or spoon to apply, in order avoid the above problem. Remember to apply vaseline to cap threads before storing.
