The sock is easy to use; however, I have found that it doesn''t perform to the extent that I expected and wanted it to, or that other reviewers had said it would. The top of the sock gradually slips down during the course of the night while I''m alseep and by morning my toes are not being held up in the raised position in which they started the night before when I put the sock on. Also, the D-ring that the strap slides through moves around too easily and ends up turning sideways during the night which causes the tension in the velcro strap to loosen, thus allowing my toes to drop back into a non-raised position. The sock does provide some benefit in that it does prevent me from pointing my toes while asleep, which does help in preventing the achilles from shortening during the night, just not to the extent desired. I have noticed that my achilles is not as tight and stiff upon wakening in the morning and getting out of bed. Also, the velcro strap that goes around your leg beneath the knee is uncomfortable if you''re a side-sleeper and irritating to the skin on the opposite leg. For what the sock actually does (versus what it claims it will do), it''s over-hyped and WAY over-priced.
